The Belt and Road Initiative

The Belt and Road Initiative is a development strategy proposed by China's paramount leader Xi Jinping that focuses on connectivity and cooperation between Eurasian countries, primarily the People's Republic of China (PRC), the land-based Silk Road Economic Belt (SREB) and the oceangoing Maritime Silk Road (MSR). In the first half of 2018, China’s total import reached 1 trillion US dollars, increased by 25.7%, under the Belt and Road Initiative. The total nonfinancial foreign direct investment reached 49 billion US dollars and total value of overseas mergers and acquisitions reached 66 billion US dollars. With the rapid expansion of outbound investment, China will surpass USA as the biggest overseas investor in the next 10 years.

2018 International Juice＆Beverage Symposium：

The implementation of“Going Global”strategy is a major strategic move for China to further enhance the level of opening up. With "Healthy Beverage - for People's Better Life" as this year’s theme, the Symposium is a world-class event that integrates professional forum and featured exhibition in the beverage industry to be jointly sponsored and created by International Society for Horticultural Science, Chinese Society for Horticultural Science, Agriculture Department of Shaanxi Province, Northwest A&F University, and Xi'an Municipal People's Government.
