Spearhead is an innovative program responsible for driving inward investment and development in the Manawatu and the lower North Island region of New Zealand. Spearhead has the resources, capability and connections to drive economic growth through enabling expansion of existing local businesses, attracting and facilitating the establishment of national and international business and supporting smooth company relocation to the region.

Craig has extensive experience in practical business leadership. His career includes 13 year of general management across 4 industries including challenges of start-ups, rapid growth, change and rationalization, giving him a deep understanding of business practice and how leaders and decision-makers think and act.

Sales and Marketing has been the core theme in Craig’s career which is reflected in his personality and strong outcome focus.

Spearhead was developed by Craig in partnership with leaders of Palmerston North City Council (PNCC) and Manawatu District Council (MDC) three and a half years ago. It is a unique model that focuses strongly on inward investment to the region.
